Our Studios
Equipment you can find at The Sound
The Studios are equipped and ready, rental rates from $25/hr and up. Our custom designed studios are complete, although we are making minor improvements weekly.
Note: With all the musicians coming and going, check your room twice before you go, we can not be responsible lost items. Although we do try to recover and return any thing found.
We are always reviewing the equipment for the studios, if you have any suggestions let us know. We just improved the PA systems in all the studios.
Here is some of the equipment you can find at the studios:
Yorkville and Traynor Bass Cabinets 400W
Marshall Amps, Traynor, VOX, Fender Deluxe Re-issue
Peavey 3120. Fender Super Sonic 60
Allan & Heath Z FX mixers Yorkville PA speakers in every studio
Mapex, Ludwig and Sonar Drums, Ride and High Hats supplied
Do to the high degree of crash cymbals breakage, drummers will have to suppy their own crash cymbals if they need one, we do have spare stands. We do not lend drumsticks out, you can by a set if you need them.
Studio 2 is our largest studio equipped with a Allen Heath Z FX 16 PA Mixer matched up with two Yorkville 750 watt PA monitors, a floor monitor and four mics and stands.
A full set of Ludwig Maple Drums and cymbals (except crash, drummers must bring their own crash cymbals) sit perched on a 10" riser.
Traynor 400W Bass amp with 10 " and 15" cobo speaker cabinet.
The Amplifiers inclube a Fender Supper Sonic and a Marshall Head with 4x12 cabinet in our premier room.
Studio 2 is 400 sq. ft. and rents for $35/hour.
Perfect for larger bands, recitals, music classes.
Studio 4 offers a Allan Heath Z FX mixer and Yorkville PA speakers with 3 mics.
The 400 watt Yorkville Sound bass cabinet.
Full set of mapex Maple drums with ride and high hat cymbals (except crash, drummers must bring their own crash cymbals) on a riser.
Guitar amps Peavey EVH 3120 and a Fender Deville
Studio 4 is 280 sq. ft. and rents for $30/hour.
Very comfortable room with a great sound
Studio 3 a medium size studio is similar in size to studio 4 and offers a Allan Heath Z FX mixer with Yorkville PA speakers and 3 mics.
A full set of Mapex Maple Drums and cymbals (except crash cymbals , drummers must bring their own crash cymbals).
Traynor 400W Bass amp with 10 " and 15" cobo speaker cabinet.
The Amplifiers inclube a Fender Deluxe and a Marshall head with 4x12 cabinet.
Studio 3 is about 280 sq. ft. and rents for $30/hour.
Also very comfortable room with a great sound
Studio 6 is similar in size to 3 and 4 and offers a Allan Heath Z FX mixer with Yorkville PA speakers and 3 mics.
A full set of Mapex Maple Drums and cymbals (except crash cymbals , drummers must bring their own crash cymbals).
The Amplifiers inclube a Traynor 30, a Marshall Head with 4x12 and a Mesa Boogie Bass amp.
Studio 6 is about 300 sq. ft. and rents for $30/hour.
Studio 1 is the smallest studio but maybe the best sounding, great for acoustic sessions, voice overs and single track recording.
Studio 1 is suppled with full set of Sonar drums and cymbals (except crash, drummers must bring their own crash cymbals), Vox Amp and a 100 watt Marshall Valvestate and Yorkville bass. For vocals a Allan Heath mixer, two mics with Yorkville PA speakers.
Studio 1 is 140 sq. ft. and rents for $25/hour.
Studio 5 hs a full set of Sonar drums and cymbals (except crash, drummers must bring their own crash cymbals), Fender Amp and a Marshall Valvestate and 4x10 cabinet and Ampeg bass amp.
For vocals a Allan Heath mixer, two mics with 2 Yorkville PA speakers.
Studio 5 is 190 sq. ft. and rents for $25/hour.
The small studios are perfect for trios, music instruction, or to sit at a set of drums, or to plug into an amp and just letting it rip .
For all Studios:
We are equipped for debit. Minimum 1 hour booking, HST is included in the hourly price of the rooms.
Studio equipment can vary based on repairs and operational requirements.
On weekdays we will open early for bookings of 2 hours or more if you book ahead.

Studio Hours
The Sound Rehearsal Studios
are open 7 days a week.
Normal hours of operation are
4:00 pm to 12:00 midnight Monday to Friday and 11:00 am to 12:00 midnight on weekends. Exceptions can be made by appointment.
